A guid Burns night tae ye

Hi all, good see that Burns night is a success this year, especially since it's the Bards 250th birthday. Anyway, here's an extract of a letter Burns sent to Mrs Dunlop in 1790:

Alas, I have often said to myself what are the boasted advantages which my country reaps from a certain Union that counterbalance the annihilation of her Independence, and even her name!
